Critical Reflection Questions

 1) R&B is a genre that is combined with different elements of music. Indecisive (Favorite Song) is a combination of R&B and Hip Hop. A convention of R&B is that in modern R&B music videos, people, particularly men, may wear certain clothes to appear "swag." In the music video, my group member Roy is wearing this type of clothes. In R&B music videos, people express their individuality and display it through their unique sound. Roy has his own way of creating his music and he is confident with his individuality. The music video or song rather gives a view on a problem that can potentially have a negative effect on romantic relationships. During these times, people become unsure or indecisive about what they truly want. Do they want to be with a person in the long run or do they want to explore different options? Indecisive (Favorite Song) gives a perspective of an indecisive and conflicted person, which probably is what someone can relate to. 

2)  As I mentioned before, Indecisive (Favorite Song) is a perspective of a hesitant person who is unsure of what he wants. In this generation, this sometimes occurs in romantic relationships. When a person is uncertain about a relationship that they are building with someone, they may want to explore other options. This happens quite frequently, so people may be able to relate to this. 

3) I believe that my production skills slightly improved throughout this project. Although I am still a newbie when it comes to production, I did learn a few things. When editing a video or project, I would usually do it without any kind of organization. For this project, I organized what needed to be organized. This made things a lot easier for me than last time. Due to my research, I followed the right steps for editing. I also explored different software, just to try different things and to see what is fit for me. I also believe that I did become more comfortable with production and technology. 

4) For editing, I usually used an app called Splice. Since I started to explore different editing apps, I decided to try out iMovie. The equipment that my group and I used for the music video was a simple camera holder to help record the video easier.

During the filming process

We have all the equipment prepared for the filming process. During it, it will take time to film. So, we just used some time to practice filming. We were a bit unsure on how long we needed to film. If we filmed a long time, then it would be difficult to choose what shots we wanted. At the location, we had to be sure of a few things. The framing we made sure were correct. Plus, we wanted to include the right scenery to go with the film. We always double check if we did everything correctly. It took a while to include all of the camera angles and movement. We had to practice a few times. After filming, we took note of the sound quality of the shots. If the sound quality was not that great, then we would just redo the scene. Title Research: The Final Destination

1.  What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence immediately starts with the title of the movie. The sequence then displays a series of names. However, none of the names have a title to them. Next, we see who was in charge of the casting. Then the costume designer is shown. Next we see the associative producer and visual effects supervisor. We then see who was in cgarge of the music, as well as who supervised the music. It continues to show the co-producer, who edited the movie, the production designer, the director of photography, a list of the executive producers, the producers, and who wrote the movie. Lastly, the director is displayed dramatically.  2. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Throughout this sequence, the creator prioritizes scenes from the movie. Hello, this is our final task. Creating this project was a lengthy process. Although, there were a few ups and downs throughout the process, it was a great and fun experience for all of us.
