AICE Media Studies

Hello, this is our final task. Creating this project was a lengthy process. Although, there were a few ups and downs throughout the process, it was a great and fun experience for all of us. Our final task is about a girl receiving anonymous messages from an unknown person. We hope that you all can enjoy this.

 After my group finished, I finally was able to get work done. My task was only to edit the mall and park scene. I think maybe Dezyrae wanted to edit the house scenes. I am not sure completely sure on who did it. Editing was very easy going. It was not difficult nor complicated at all. First, I made sure to go over every scene. I wanted to see if it followed the storyboard. I only obtained the scenes from the mall and park. The process of trimming went well. I did not have any difficulty with it. I trimmed the parts that were not needed. While trimming, I kept in mind that I did not want the videos to be too long. The final task should only be two minutes. Although, I had trouble editing the transitions. I was not sure which part to trim. So, the transitions are probably very bad. I probably could had done a better job for the transitions but it costed money to get access to the different transitions. I tried to use other editing apps. Unfortunately, almost all of them required payment

 So far, nothing has changed. I still didn’t have much to do. I am now receiving the photo album of all of the videos. According to the group chat, they are finishing up scenes at the park. I think maybe this weekend or next week we will start editing. I am not sure. We haven’t discussed what time yet. I’m not sure if I can edit with them in person, due to certain circumstances. I guess we’ll stick with me editing with them while on Facetime. 

 I am still waiting for my group to finish filming so I can edit with them. So, there was nothing I had to do so far. According to the group chat, my group is planning on filming the park scene on Thursday. I think I found some editing apps to work with. I will practice with them to see if I would actually use them to edit.

 As of right now, there was basically anything I had to do. According to the groupchat, it seems as if they were filming scenes from the mall. My group and I still did not have anything important about the project to discuss about. So, for now, I do not have much to do. Still, I am uncertain on what editing apps to use. I prefer editing apps that provide everything I need, free of charge. I will probably ask my group about their  suggestions. That is all that happened so far. 

Regarding my last post, I did confront my group about the misunderstandings. At that rime, I was a bit confused and maybe frustrated. Since, I was not informed of anything.  I am convinced that my group maybe needs more work on our communication. So, this will never happen again. Anyway, Dezyrae cleared things up with me. We all put it in the past now. I would say that everything is fine now. As expected, as far as I am aware of my group did nothing over spring break. I do recall Dexyrae and Guerline having plans to meet up, but I am not certain. I am not sure if Sarayah also joined them. Maybe they filmed before spring break. I have no clue. I am sure that they were filming the mall scenes, as stated from the group chat. So anyway, I did nothing over spring break. Over the break, my group and I did not communicate at all. I just did what I normally do at home, most importantly, I caught up on the sleep I missed. As of right now, I did not receive any videos to edit. Also, I am not sur
