Planning for the Final : Locations, Health, Participants, Schedule



 


2/25 - 3/2: During this time we will plan for filming days. The locations, actors, and storyline will be finalized. The filming dates will be set as well as whoever is going to direct the movie. The script, storyboard and title blogs will be completed during this time frame. 

3/6: This Saturday will be our first day of filming. We will start off with the park scenes and focus only on them this day. At 4:30p.m. we will arrive and set up where we will film and how we are going to start. Around 5:00p.m. we will begin filming.

3/7: On Sunday we will review the videos we recorded and edit them to our liking.

3/13: On this Saturday we will film at another location which will be the mall. We will start filming in the morning when there are barely any people their.

3/14: We will review and edit the clips that we recorded the day before at the mall. 

3/20: We will record the final scenes at the house and we will begin sometime in the evening.

3/21: Final revision and editing will be done on this day. The final product will then be uploaded to blogger.


 Locations: 

  • The first couple of scenes will take place in Coral Square Mall. This mall is located in Coral Springs.
  • The second location is a park called Hamptons Pines Park. This is located in North Lauderdale.
  • The last location will be in a group members house. The house is located in Coral Springs.

Health and Safety

To ensure our groups safety we will have adults nearby in case of any emergencies. Sarayah's aunt and uncle will be a couple of minutes away and can come immediately if needed. Each member will have their phones on them in case they need to dial 911 or contact their parent. 
 
Considering the type of scenes we are recording, we will probably need band-aids in case anybody falls. Also, taking the pandemic into consideration we will wear our mask at all times and only remove them once recording begins. We will also bring hand sanitizer, water and snacks in case. As far as safety we are well prepared for filming.

 After my group finished, I finally was able to get work done. My task was only to edit the mall and park scene. I think maybe Dezyrae wanted to edit the house scenes. I am not sure completely sure on who did it. Editing was very easy going. It was not difficult nor complicated at all. First, I made sure to go over every scene. I wanted to see if it followed the storyboard. I only obtained the scenes from the mall and park. The process of trimming went well. I did not have any difficulty with it. I trimmed the parts that were not needed. While trimming, I kept in mind that I did not want the videos to be too long. The final task should only be two minutes. Although, I had trouble editing the transitions. I was not sure which part to trim. So, the transitions are probably very bad. I probably could had done a better job for the transitions but it costed money to get access to the different transitions. I tried to use other editing apps. Creative Critical Reflection

1. My product uses conventions by that I clarified about the product to help readers to completely understand what my product is used for. I would say that this product is welcome to all hair types. Growing up, I struggled to find hair brushes that will not cause unnecessary damage to my hair. I have tightly coiled hair so, my hair is hard to tame. Those with the same hair type as me, or a hair type closer than it, finally know a product that is pain-free and detangles just fine. 2. My product engages with audiences by that we all struggled to find the right tools that would work for our hair. It is important for us to choose products that will work for our hair and prevent hair damage. This would be distributed as a real media text through a commercial. A commercial would do good at explaining this product more.   What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?  An element we'll be using in our final task is intense music. We want to create a lot of suspense in our movie. So when the girl receives the texts/letters, we'll use intense music. We'll also be using the element normality. The girl is going to pretend nothing is wrong during the task. The other girls won't know anything's wrong, so they'll also be acting normal. What elements of the genre did the movie have that you like? Intensity: At the beginning of the movie, Sandra is explaining to the kids that they must remain silent and alert.
