What I did & encountered during the filming process
I filmed The Knot Dr. commercial in front of a solid background. I filmed it on my phone.
Since I was unable to have anyone to film, I decided to film a mannequin head instead. I made sure that the mannequin's hair is unruly and tangled up. I explained in the voiceover that the mannequin's hair has been known to be untamed.
I added a zoom-in shot on the mannequin's disheveled hair to show the situation of the hair. Mannequins can't move, so I filmed someone browsing through the internet for the product.
In the next scene, I filmed a close up of the product. I made sure to show the shape of the bristles and the way they are positioned. I also filmed a case that comes with it. I tried to get the right angles of the brush. I recorded an extra scene showing how the product fits in a handbag.
The mannequin is shown to have dampened hair. This was to show the efficiency of the product. I proceeded to detangle hair with the product. In this scene, I filmed how smoothly the detangler went through her hair strands. I also filmed a close-up and slow motion.
In the last scene, I filmed a before and after of the mannequin's hair. I also filmed a close-up. You can see how efficient the product is.
