Creative Critical Reflection

1. My product uses conventions by that I clarified about the product to help readers to completely understand what my product is used for. I would say that this product is welcome to all hair types. Growing up, I struggled to find hair brushes that will not cause unnecessary damage to my hair. I have tightly coiled hair so, my hair is hard to tame. Those with the same hair type as me, or a hair type closer than it, finally know a product that is pain-free and detangles just fine.

2. My product engages with audiences by that we all struggled to find the right tools that would work for our hair. It is important for us to choose products that will work for our hair and prevent hair damage. This would be distributed as a real media text through a commercial. A commercial would do good at explaining this product more. People will be informed about how this product can work for your hair and reduce damage.

3.I would say that my production skills improved a bit while working on the commercial. I did not go over the top with the commercial, so I did not learn much. Although, I did become more comfortable with editing. Also, the steps became much easier and clearer to me. Working on the commercial was an easy task. I still need to learn how to embed videos properly.

4. For the commercial, I used my phone and apps that were on my phone. While using my phone, I tried to get the right angles and different shots. The editing process took a while. I had to make sure each take was trimmed correctly and go over them individually a few times. I used apps to trim them again and add music to it. I went on Youtube to search for copyright-free music that I could use.
